General Terms and Conditions
1. Presentation
From February 1st 2008 until December 24th 2008, EPS Schneider Electric (SE), in partnership with its official distributors (OD) and selected wholesalers (WS), is organizing all over the kingdom of Saudi Arabia a promotional campaign named “Smile! Schneider Electric Reward Program”.
The operation is open to all buyers of Schneider Electric selected products, purchasing in one of the OD or WS point of sales participating to the operation.
SE, OD and WS staff members are excluded from this public offer.
The list of point of sales (ODs and WSs) participating in Schneider Electric reward program, are listed on pages 56 and 58 of the present document titled “Smile! Gifts catalogue”. It’s also available by phone from the customer support center (call 920 011 101).
The selected products entering the Smile! program are listed from page 6 of the present document. The list includes all Telemecanique offer with exception of variable speed drives ATV 71, all Merlin Gerin wiring accessories offer, Disbo extra distribution boards and Domae and C60 miniature circuit breakers, easypact, safety switches and enclosed circuit breakers (ECB).
2. Applying for a Smile! card
Smile! is a reward program that allow Schneider Electric customers to convert the amount of their purchases against points, then cumulate and redeem them against gifts.
On his first purchase, between Feb. 1st and Dec. 24th, the customer will receive the “Smile! Gift catalogue”.
He will apply for a Smile! membership card and will be given an individual number.
The Smile card contains the customer details (name, company, mobile number).
When applying for his Smile! card, the customer certify he will inform his employer, if applicable, of doing so.
With the help of the OD or WS point of sales’ staff, the customer will fill the membership application form and fax it to the Smile! center. Within 10 days a card will be issue with a final membership number. The customer will collect it from his preferred OD or WS point of sales.
3. Cumulating points
For every purchase of selected products during the validity period (purchase order and corresponding invoice dates both included between Feb. 1st and Dec. 24th), the total amount of the purchase will be converted into points. The rate is 1 point for every completed 25SR invoiced net.
To credit new points on the customer card, the OD or WS is sending to the Smile! center a copy of the invoice along with the customer card number. To be eligible to points, the invoice must show a net price, without any discount. It must be issued during the campaign and match a purchase order raised during the same period. It must be submitted to the Smile center not later than 2 weeks after date of issue. After verification, the smile center is sending by SMS directly to the customer an update of its account status. He also keeps records of it.
The points will be cumulated on the membership card number until they can be redeemed against gifts listed in this catalogue.
4. Gifts
To claim the gift the customer is filling the gift order form (see page 63 of the current document). After he faxes it to the Smile! center, he will receive his gifts from his preferred point of sales.
The last date to claim for gift must reach the Smile! center by December 31, 2008 latest. No request will be accepted after this date.
The items presented in the catalogue are available until stock lasts. In case of shortage, equivalent item (description and value) will be given in replacement.
When receiving his gift, the customer allows Schneider Electric to use his name and image for further promotional campaign, without any compensation.
5. Other
All details of this operation are available in the showrooms participating to the operation and at the customer support center.
Schneider Electric reserves the right to cancel the offer or modify the conditions without prior notice in case of unforeseen events or force majeure.
